A sway is what carries on after you stop. The drop hangs from a link rather than sitting fixed on the ear, so it swings when you turn and settles a beat later. Dark ground, bright edges, a small carnelian at the top and a pink chalcedony at the bottom. The translucent chalcedony holds the light instead of throwing it back. It moves when you do, and a moment longer.
